Although I must admit that my ability is still very lacked on those fields—if you really want to know how to shade or draw “my way” (which is not the best choice you could pick; I warn you)—the only tips I could tell you is… don’t try too hard.
My shading is definitely not in the detailed category (I tend to simplify things) and most of the time I spend my time telling myself not to try too hard on the shading. Like, just let it be at it is.
AND although I simplified the shading, it’s not like I’m half-assing it—in contrary to popular belief I guess. Understanding the light source and ambiances would give you a big damn help as well.
What is your best vocaloid series ever?
It hard to say since my favorite changed as time pass, but for now it’s safe for me to say that teniwoha’s Jogakusei Tantei (Schoolgirl Detective) Series is the best series I ever had. Totally worth my every seconds!

It was announced in this video that Teniwoha will be releasing an album for his Schoolgirl Detective Series, titled “Schoolgirl Detective Rock,” on June 26.
The seiyuu playing the school girl detective, Hanamoto Hibari (voiced byIshihara Hibari, the seiyuu for Aladdin in Magi!) and the sensei, Kudou Renma (voiced by Inoue Kazuhiko, best known for his roles as Kakashi from Naruto, Nyanko-sensei in Natsume Yuujinchou), will also be providing their voices for the album, as they did for the announcement video.
There will be a limited, first-press edition (CD+DVD) and a regular edition (CD only).
Both are up for pre-order at:

Well… to be honest, no.
I have many pairs that I thought “oh that’s cute”, yet not strong enough to make me draw them—unlike my particular otp.
But you know anon, one could draw Homestuck fanart without it being ship-related.
EDIT: Wait anon I’ve drawn several others like Gamzee, Dirk, Roxy, and Horuss too if you’re interested—oh I haven’t posted the Horuss one my bad.
